Two different jobs

AI mixing and AI mastering are different jobs.

An AI mixer balances the parts inside a track: levels, EQ and the space between them. AI mastering takes the finished stereo mix and brings it to release standard, so it holds up on phone speakers, headphones and in the car. Mix first, master second. What runs here is AI mastering: upload the final stereo mix and hear the master before you pay.

Start your master

Upload your final mix.

AI mastering runs automatically. Preview the full-length master before you pay, DSP-compatible, format-correct and ready to ship. Pay only when you want to download.

  • Full-length preview, every time
  • Brought to streaming-standard loudness
  • Pay only when you're happy, then download
How it works

Three steps. From stereo bounce to release-ready.

No round-trip emails. No queue. Upload your mix, mastering runs automatically, preview the result before you pay.

Common questions

Mastering, answered.

The six artists ask before their first master. If yours isn't here, ask us.

What format should I upload?

A lossless WAV that doesn't peak above 0dBFS. Remove all limiters and other mastering plugins before uploading. They reduce what mastering can do.

What loudness does the master target?

Your master is brought up to the loudness and clarity standards expected across streaming platforms. No manual target-setting needed.

What does mastering do, and not do?

Mastering polishes the finished mix: loudness, clarity, translation across systems, format-correct deliverables. It can't fix mix problems. If the mix isn't right, mix first.

What deliverables do I get?

Preview the finished master before you buy. Once you're happy, purchase it to download the master file. Your purchase is also emailed with a download link.

What's the turnaround?

Mastering runs automatically and your preview is ready quickly after upload. Not happy with the result? Go back to your DAW, tweak your mix and re-upload. You can preview as many times as you need before paying.

Difference vs. AI Mixing?

Mixing balances elements within a track. Mastering polishes the finished mix. You probably need mixing first if your track is still being shaped.

Ready to master

Master it, then release it.

Upload the mix, preview the finished master, and pay only when you download it. What happens after that is a decision about how the release goes out.
